GUITARS!

Absolutely smashing into the song with some killer guitars shredding the strings with such a clean distortion. I'm instantly reminded of classic rock/metal like AC/DC, Kiss and Metallica. Half expecting an old school Greta Van Fleet vibe to the vocals I was somewhat pleasantly surprised to hear a more rounded indie rock vocal sound which works so so well with the old school rock guitars. I love how well they gel together and how clear the vocals and guitars sound even with the distortion engulfing the space within the song.

These boys are clearly extremely talented musicians as well as songwriters. They include precise guitar licks in between breaks in the vocals as well to show off the intricate arrangement of the song. The bass and drums hold the foundation of this track so so well helping it thunder along to the inevitable glorious guitar solo which is otherworldly, hitting all the high notes and flying across the frets with precision and ease. The ending breakdown is also a fantastic break in texture adding another surprise to the listener before the song comes to a finish. It's just brilliant and held me from start to finish.

There are so many parts of this song to love and I can only imagine it sounds just as incredible live. These boys are extremely talented and have a somewhat bright future ahead of them if their songs continue on this level. Also want to shout out their song moths to a flame which is another fantastic example of this brilliant fusion of music coming together so so well. I honestly hope with every fibre of my being that they make it from new Zealand to the UK so I can experience this massive sound in the flesh!
