I absolutely love it when I get sent music especially music that is so incredibly unique. La’Croix along with his producer friend Gio Vanguarde have truly created a work of art with this song. It’s ambient, solemn and completely and utterly beautiful. The way the track is built to ebb and flow through the verses and up into the choruses is brilliant, it’s incredibly well paced and does so well to show off La’Croixs voice as well as his songwriting. He wrote this song sixty three days after losing his best friend and the grief and emotion in this so is so raw and powerful.

I don’t think I can compare this to anything else as I haven’t heard anything else similar to this which is what makes it stand out even more to me. His haunting vocals sound conversational in parts and it’s so evident that he is pouring out his soul to the world here which honestly bought a tear to my eye.

There are so many aspects of this song that makes it more than music; it’s a beautiful piece of art and something that all parties involved can share with their heads are hearts full of pride.

What and amazing tribute for such a terrible loss.

This has to be experienced by anyone who has loved and lost a friend so dear to them. It struck a chord with me and allowed me to reflect fondly on the memories I had with my friend who has been gone for a while now.

Thank you for sending this to me La’Croix. Thank you for creating something so powerful and for putting yourself out there into the world for others to share and relate to your pain.
